Coronavirus

Coronavirus has exploded in the United States in the last couple of weeks. We have
been flooded with so much information that it’s hard to separate fact from fiction at this
point.

Unfortunately, not everyone will survive this pandemic. Now more than ever having
life insurance coverage is important. Even though seniors with pre-existing conditions are
at a higher risk of dying from the Coronavirus, none of us are exempt from that reality. As
I’m writing this, I just learned that a high school acquaintance of a friend of mine passed
away from this at 46 years old today. She is leaving behind a husband, children and
grandchildren. I hope she had life insurance.

This is personal for me. I have five sisters. Three of them are nurses on the front
lines right now trying to save others. I just checked to make sure their life insurance
coverage was sufficient.

I wonder how many people have died of this in the United States and didn’t have life
insurance coverage. It’s a scary thought.

If you have someone you care about that would be devastated financially if you
were no longer here, it’s time to get covered. You don’t have to leave your house to do so.
For the time being and the foreseeable future, our agents can work remotely. Getting
coverage is more affordable than you think. There is NO medical exam. In most cases
coverage is immediate once you are approved. We even have policies that include critical
illness and have living benefits. Living benefits allow you to take advantage of the features
of your policy while you are alive. Now more than ever that’s going to matter to a lot of
people.

Go to nowsheknows.com for more information. I hope to hear from you soon. Until then,
take care of yourselves and each other.

Sincerely,
Shaun Laurent
